Leadership Training Institute offers classes that teach participants
to confidently use proven methods of management leadership
to lead people and help them plan, organize
and control their work assignments. Class
participants will also learn to use resources made available to them more
effectively.
On-Site
Classes: can be tailored to the needs of client
organization and delivered on-site at time and location
of client choice.
Class Objectives:
At
the 90-day post-class assessment, participants will
have:
- Demonstrated
(on the job) an understanding that the intuitive style
of leadership (self-centered, directive) will only
work in special circumstances and will have made noticeable
improvement in working themselves toward a management
leadership style (participatory, empowering)
- Spent
more time "leading and managing" and less
time "doing"
- Used
the action planning process to plan and implement
at least one important initiative that has a positive
impact on business results
- Used
the decision-making technique on the job to arrive
at sound decisions that have or will have a positive
impact on business results
- Demonstrated
greater ability to function in teamwork situations
- Developed
and successfully used a system of control by exception

Leadership Training Class: The Role of Leadership and Duplication in Multi Level Marketing
If you are into network marketing... and especially if you are new... you would be wondering what is the importance of the words duplication and leadership in MLM. You would hear them often. Now you will know for sure...
As you build any organization... and a network is nothing but an organization of people coming together to achieve their dreams... you need to follow a system. A systematic way of doing things ensures that people in the organization don't fall over each other or trample each other's feet. A system also ensures that everyone does their piece of the work and nobody feels unjustifiably burdened. Systemic working further makes certain that predictability comes in as the process rules, not whims and fancies. Thus, in the development of a network, adherence to systems is key.
But an MLM is comprised of a bunch of volunteers. Nobody is paid to follow orders or march on a system. In fact the reverse is often true. New members are told they are in business and therefore take it as their birthright to invent their own ways of doing things thanks to their new-found freedom.
Duplication is about doing exactly what works. Following a proven path and keeping in line with the leadership. When duplication is high in a network, the network performs well for all concerned. Everyone knows what to do and does their bit diligently. The system takes over and the output is far more than what it would be with individual efforts.
Duplication also makes it easy for new members to not stress out over their role. They just do what they see their up line do. And since the up line is following the system, results are predictable. Thus with duplication you get predictability... provided the steps of a proven leadership system are being duplicated.
When it comes to leadership, the role of leadership is to cast a vision for members on the team that they would achieve what they want by following the steps of the system. As a leader one must empower and enable others to rise to their potential so they can take up leadership roles thereby duplicating leadership and taking the network to higher levels.
It is not important what the products are or what the compensation plan is. As long as leadership and duplication are sustained, a network will perform well. There are many examples of the role of leadership and duplication in enabling long-term success at every large MLM company!
