You were born with a unique gift. This unique gift is your natural ability. Your natural ability determines your leadership influence and leadership potential. This is why you can identify a true leader without the leader mentioning one word. The leader’s appearance and presence displays the authenticity of leadership that flows from his spirit.

But there is no need for you to be intimidated by this leader, because he is only displaying the unique gift that he was born with. Yes, he was born with this gift of leadership and so are you. However, this gift must be stimulated, protected, developed, and cultivated over a long period of time. This is the foundation of leadership development, and leadership development maximizes leadership potential.

You must develop the unique gift that you already possess. It might not be on the level of another person's gift and leadership influence yet, but this is not your concern. You are concerned about maximizing your leadership potential. The only way to maximize or become the great leader that you were born to be, is to continue to work on yourself.

When we work on ourselves, we are working on our gifts. Now if you have not discovered the unique gift that is within you, no need to worry any longer. I will ask you a few questions below, and these questions will stimulate your thinking and help you discover who you really are.

1. When you wake up in the morning, what is the one thing that you wish you could be doing?

2. What is within the world that makes you angry, and if you had the wealth, what would you do about it today?

3. What famous person has the leadership and skill level that you wish you could have immediately?

4. What is that dream or vision that keeps coming into your spirit, but you keep making excuses because of fear and uncertainty?

5. If you could leave your current condition, your bills, your present responsibilities, and move your family to another state and start over your life, where would you go, and what business or foundation would you start?

Reread these questions, and find the one that makes you uncomfortable with your current condition. When we get uncomfortable with our current condition and our job security, we stimulate our thinking to help us discover the true authentic self. This authenticity that comes within our spirit produces a clear picture of the work that we were born to do.

My friend, you were born to do something great in your lifetime, prior to reaching the end of your life. Therefore, this revelation produces awareness, that if God put you here in this generation for a purpose, then He has already endowed you with the unique gifts and natural ability to do it successfully. These unique gifts are your true authentic self. These unique gifts are your leadership influence and leadership potential.

When you employ your unique gifts into the world, you are now living a life of true significance and true meaning. Because now you are living your dream. Now you are living your passion. And now you are Maximizing Your True Leadership Potential, and becoming the great leader that you were born to be.

When you maximize your true leadership potential, there is no one on the planet that will be able to compete with you!
