Business Management Leadership Training: The Wrong Foundation Will Collapse Your Business
In business, any business - from major corporations, franchises, or government to small home businesses - success begins and ends with management and leadership. The bricks of leadership have to be laid from the very beginning or when the time comes to weather a storm it will come crumbling down quick.
A quote from boxing heavyweight champ Smokin Joe Frazier really sums this thought up quite nicely.
"You can map out a fight plan or life plan. But when the action starts, you're down to your reflexes. That's where your road work shows. IF YOU CHEATED on that in the dark of the morning, you're getting found out now under the bright lights."
I use Internet marketing as an example. Recently the FTC came down pretty hard on Internet marketers and for one reason or another Google reacted pretty hard and suspended and banned accounts across the board. Now, if you did your road work ( ie. articles, press releases, video social media etc.), all the non glorious marketing avenues that a good Internet marketer should deploy would have helped keep your head above water while you found other sources of quality traffic.
If, however, you neglected the road work and cheated a bit by just employing the quick money makers well, you were found out under the bright lights of Google. Hopefully you were only knocked down and not out.
The point for management and leadership being, if you lead your business in all the right directions and lay the foundation for all of your employees, downlines, outsourcers etc. with a long term plan, when the storm hits (and it always will) you will come out as the shining leader as your business will weather and in fact grow in the storm.
